Our parent company Watson Ramsbottom Ltd are proud to have had a high quality Legal Aid franchise for many years..
This means that they are able to take legal aid cases and, whilst we cannot handle these at Steele & Son, Rachel Horman-Brown and her team at Watson Ramsbottom are able to grant emergency Legal Aid to enable clients to get to court the same day if appropriate.
Such cases can be handled remotely and most court hearings are also currently being conducted remotely, but where necessary Watson Ramsbottom will come out to attend hearings or see you in person meaning you will not be required to travel any real distance to discuss the matter with Watson Ramsbottom.
Even where you are employed and not in receipt of benefits you may still qualify for public funding and it is worth speaking to us as we are able to calculate this for you in a matter of minutes.
Watson Ramsbottom offer Legal Aid across all family disputes, however for some cases evidence of domestic abuse / child abuse may be required to obtain Legal Aid – See ‘Can I still get Legal Aid?’ below.
